We are delighted to announce the recipients of the second round of funding from the Bairds of Antrim Community Assistance Programme 2025.
This round saw three fantastic local organisations receive support for projects that make a real difference within our community:
All About Us – ASD Teens
Based at Greystone Shopping Centre, All About Us supports young people with additional needs through peer mentoring and social activities. Their “Buddy Bash” event will celebrate the achievements of their Teen Buddy volunteers, recognising their commitment to inclusion and community connection.
Friends of Antrim Castle Gardens
This dedicated volunteer group will deliver their “Christmas Cheer” project, creating and distributing festive floral pots to individuals in the Antrim area experiencing loneliness, illness, or bereavement, spreading joy and kindness during the holiday season.
Ballycraigy Primary School PTA
The PTA’s “HOP Club” (Help Out Programme) provides a safe, supportive after-school space for pupils. Funding will help extend resources for homework support, creative activities, and outdoor play, helping children develop confidence, friendships, and essential life skills.
We are proud to support these groups as they continue to strengthen community wellbeing, inclusion, and connection across Antrim.
This completes the second round of funding for 2025.
The Community Assistance Programme is now closed, but applications will reopen in 2026.
